Red Truck Brewing White Line IPA Review Red Truck Beer Co. – White Line White IPA Review

The Red Truck Brewery has extended their classic car inspired line up limited release beers with the White Line, a White IPA that is sold in bomber sized bottles. Pouring this summer seasonal beer it is slightly clear and golden in appearance. A thick finger of head tops the White Line and from it comes an aroma of pacific northwest hop tones and light citrus. Any wheat tones are very subtle and not easily picked up on. Tasting the beer a light wheat character joins a hop flavour of pine, citrus and classic Pacific Northwestern flavours. The subdued wheat flavours make this less of a white IPA in flavour but the mouthfeel is reminiscent of their, similarly categorized beers. The White Line is a big beer for summer but it is smooth and hop forward, just the way BC IPA drinkers like them.
