Fieldhouse Brewing Field Saison CanFieldhouse Brewing – Field Saison Review

Fieldhouse Brewing released its Field Saison in time for a refreshing mid-summer drink and they have adhered fairly closely to the Belgian Table Saison style. The beer pours from the 473mL can a cloudy, straw colour with three fingers of white, lasting head that leaves behind plenty of lacing. The beer presents classic saison aromas of hay, yeast, and mild barnyard funk, followed by fruity tones of apple, citrus, and a hint of spice. Flavours of lemon, apple, and pepper are initially dominant, followed closely by a light funk. This easy-drinking table saison gives a light and bright mouthfeel and a slightly dry finish.
