Wolf Brewing Co. India Pale Ale Review Wolf Brewing Co. – India Pale Ale Review

Wolf Brewing operates out of Nanaimo BC and their IPS is called just that, The Wolf Brewing India Pale Ale. This beer is labelled with a painting of outdoor adventure in the Nanaimo Forrest through the art of mountain biking. Coincidentally, the beer would likely make a great apres refreshment after a day of riding. Pouring this beer from the bomber bottle it is a colour of copper-amber and is lightly clouded. One finger of head settles slowly from the top of the glass leaving a thick layer of lacing on the glass. An aroma of piney hop tones is joined by light caramel sweetness and toasted malt on the nose. Tasting the beer it too is a blend on northwest hop flavour, toasted malt and light caramel sweetness. The beer is balanced and strong but has a big of a bitter malt character and toasted sweetness than your typical BC brewed IPA. If you would like a classic, balanced and enjoyable IPA, look no further than Wolf Brewing.
