First ever Canadian Brewing Awards event open to the public is set to bring medal-winning BC craft beers into the spotlight!
VANCOUVER, BC – MAY 17th, 2016 Join us on May 29th, when the Canadian Brewing Awards and the BC Craft Brewer’s Guild join forces to celebrate an all-medal-winning line up of BC craft Breweries at Best of BC – CBAs Meet the BC Craft Brewers Guild. This first time event is part of the 7th annual Vancouver Craft Beer Week, and invites you to taste your way through 20 of B.C.’s medal winning craft beers, sample delicious canapés, and listen as the King Rails provide the swingin’ soundtrack for the afternoon!
“We’re excited to have the 2016 Canadian Brewing Awards here in Vancouver, and it’s so great that they’ve partnered with the BC Craft Brewers Guild to be a part of VCBW,” said Leah Heneghan, Events Director at Vancouver Craft Beer Week. “This is the perfect event to showcase the fantastic things that are happening in the BC craft beer scene!”
Best of BC – CBAs Meet the BC Craft Brewers Guild is on May 29th from 1pm – 5pm, at Central City Brew Pub+Restaurant at 871 Beatty Street. Tickets are $50 and include:
- Beer samples from 20 medal winning B.C. craft breweries
- Canapés by Central City Brew Pub
- Live music from Vancouver’s rockabilly legends The King Rails

The Canadian Brewing Awards are the premiere competition for judging the quality of Canadian manufactured beer and ciders.
