PUCKER UP: STEAMWORKS LAUNCHES NEW KETTLE SOUR

Vancouver, BC
May 3rd, 2016

Steamworks Brewing Co is kicking off their new sour beer program with the release of their new dry hopped Kettle Sour.

Packaged in an electric pink 650ml bottle, the beer features premium 2-row, carapils and wheat malt which are then kettle soured and generously dry hopped with Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin hops post fermentation to give a tropical fruit aroma and a refreshingly tart flavour. This light gold beer is supremely sessionable and perfect for spring patio sessions.

Brewmaster Julia Hanlon, expands upon the new release: “We’re excited to usher in our new souring program with the release of this dry-hopped Kettle Sour. Through ongoing experimentation with barrel aged and kettle sours we plan on brewing sour beers that are both innovative and affordable.”

This refreshingly tart Spring treat will be available early May in very limited quantities at select private retailers and restaurants in BC as well as on tap at the Steamworks Brewery and Taproom at 3845 William St in Burnaby, BC.
