Red Truck Releases Zero Tolerance ESB and Golden Summer Ale

Red Truck Beer Company Releases Two New Beers – The Zero Tolerance ESB and Golden Summer Ale.

In the early days of spring the Red Truck Beer Company has shown their hand for refreshment announcing two new beers. First up in 650ml bottles is the Zero Tolerance ESB. Also coming to market is the Golden Summer Ale which is available in 6-packs and in Red Truck mix packs. Both beers will also be available on draught at select locations.

Red Truck Zero Tolerance ESBRed Truck Zero Tolerance ESB – 5.0%

A blend of premium specialty malts and classic English hops make this ESB an easy drinking and flavourful beer. The use of rye malt adds a subtle spiciness and complexity. The classic English hops deliver a floral and earthy aroma.

Aroma: Toasted malt, floral hop and mild fruitiness
Flavour: Moderately high fruitiness, medium yet assertive bitterness and a slightly spicy rye character
Finish: Clean, dry and highly drinkable
Ingredients: Golden Promise, Brown Malt, Dark Crystal and Rye malts. UK Kent Golding and UK Challenger hops

Alcohol: 5.0% abv
Bitter: 27 IBU
Carbonation: 2.65 v/v



Red Truck Golden Summer AleGolden Summer Ale – 4.8%

Aroma: Citrus and mild flowery hop, sweet orange and coriander, light biscuit malt.
Flavour: Subtle sweet orange, coriander and light honey, citrus hop flavor, biscuit malt
Finish: Medium body, slight sweet finish,.
Ingredients: Superior Pilsner and Malted Wheat malts. Herkules and Hersbruker Hops
Colour: Pale Straw
Alcohol: 4.8% ABV
Bitter: 10 IBU
Carbonation: 2.85 v/v CO2

    Hey Dustan, I enjoy your blog and really appreciate your efforts to keep us all up to date about what’s going on in BC beer. I wonder, though, if you should put your by-line “by Dustan Sept” on posts that are re-prints of brewery press releases. It might make sense journalistically to make a clear distinction between your writing and the companies’ stuff.

      Thanks for the suggestion. The “about the author” shows up by default. It is an easy change though and we will take it into consideration with future press releases. The post author will still show up at the top though.
