Bad Tattoo Unveils Rune Stone Peated Scotch Ale at Victoria Beer Week

Bad Tattoo Rune Stone Peated Scotch AleBad Tattoo Launches Peated Scotch Ale During Victoria Beer Week

Bad Tattoo are making a big splash at Victoria Beer Week with their release of the Rune Stone Peated Scotch Ale. As a seasonal brew released in Victoria during the week-long festival this is a new venture for the Penticton based brewery.

The Rune Stone Peated Scotch Ale is a smooth toffee coloured ale. It is brewed with enough peated malt to leave a lingering hint of a smokey finish that plays off of the sweet buttery malt and touch of earthy hops. The balance of the peat and malty sweetness evokes images of the beautiful landscapes of Scotland with its rugged coast lines and verdant hills.

The Rune Stone will be released in Victoria on March 12 at 1pm at the “Lift Off” Victoria Beer Week event. Festival attendees will be the first to taste the beer, before it is available in select liquor stores throughout BC for a limited time.

ABV: 5.8%
IBU: 18
SRM: 16
