Vancouver craft beer partners with HSBC Canada Sevens

VANCOUVER, B.C. (February 25, 2016) Award-winning craft beer brand, Postmark Brewing, has partnered with the HSBC Canada Sevens Vancouver and Victoria/Langford tournaments for a unique collaboration: the limited-edition Sevens IPA.

Beginning March 1, 2016, Postmark’s wildly popular IPA will sport a new look and a new name in honour of Canada’s participation in the 10-stop HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, and 5-stop HSBC Women’s World Rugby Sevens Series.

Sevens IPA will be available in three formats. Featuring a photograph of Vancouver’s most famous city vista from the top of the adjacent Cypress Mountain, 650ml bomber bottles will be available at select BC Liquor Stores across the province.

Sevens IPA will also be available on tap at more than 30 select pubs and bars throughout the Lower Mainland, including Library Square and Brock House, where rugby events are scheduled.

Postmark Brewing has also been commissioned for a run of 20,000 Sevens IPA 335ml cans in a distinctive Canadian red. These will be sold directly to the country’s largest-ever rugby audience at kiosks inside Vancouver’s BC Place for the men’s tournament March 12-13, and exclusively at Westhills Stadium for the women’s tournament in Langford April 16-17.

“It’s a huge honour for Postmark Brewing and for craft beer in B.C.,” says Managing Director Nate Rayment. “For a craft brewer to be considered as a partner for such a prestigious international sports event shows that HSBC Canada Sevens organizers have tremendous foresight and genuine interest in our quality product.”

Sevens IPA will be available onsite at Canada Sevens Rugby games in Vancouver and Victoria and at select locations across British Columbia in March and April 2016.
