in the usual and unique Mortal Kombat naming style that Fuggles & Warlock has adopted comes the Raiden Black Rye IPA. This dark and Rye brewed IPA pours from the bomber bottle as a dark brown, nearly black colour with two-plus fingers of light brown and lacing head. This Black IPA has a big and intense aroma  of citrus, pine, and fruit plus a peppery-rye spice. The nose is big, bold and well-hopped. Tasting the beer it is light and bubbly on the tongue with a bit of a creamy texture that is unique for an IPA. The flavour starts off with a dark and complex hoppiness that builds into a bit of a pepper-coffee tone. The hop notes are filled with pine, citrus and a current flavour while the rye adds a roasty and smoothness to the beer. The Raiden is dark and smooth yet big, bold and hoppy at the same time. Here, in describing what you will experience Raiden puts it best, “What you are about to face is vastly more important than your ego, your enemy, or your quest for revenge.”
