Phillips Cereal Killer Imperial Rye Lager ReviewPhillips Brewing Co. – Cereal Killer Imperial Rye Lager Review

Phillips has flexed their style-creativity muscle in brewing up the Cereal Killer, an Imperial Rye Lager. In nearly four years of Beer Me BC, there has not been a comparably categorized beer. Pouring this “delicious terror” from the bomber bottle it is a colour of amber that is very-clear. The aroma coming off the Cereal Killer is very big with malt character and a rye like spice along side a caramel like sweetness. Tasting the beer it has a very big body with a sturdy malt-rye characteristic that further adds to the body. The weight of the flavour also mellows the alcohol flavour that is high for a lager at 7.2%. There are a few Rye Lagers on the market that have a similar flavour profile but everything here is just a little bigger. From body to flavour intensity and alcohol content the Cereal Killer is big, bold and a unique amplification of traditional Rye Lagers.

Alcohol – 7.2%
Size – 650ml
