Red Truck Brewing Swamp Thing Stout Review Red Truck Beer Co. – Swamp Thing Stout Review

In the theme of red trucks, the Swamp Thing Stout is a seasonal release from the Red Truck Beer COmpany. This limited release 650ml bottle is a low 4.5% alcohol and pours as a dark brown colur that lets a smidgen of light through. Two fingers of light brown head leaves a thick layer of lacing on the glass and gives off an aroma of chocolate, coffee, toasted malt and a light hop bitterness. This Dry Irish Stout has a fairly light body to go with a big flaovur profile. The taste is dark with heavy toasted malt notes, bitter coffee and cocoa tones and a bit of a lingering hop tone on the finish. The finish is very dry and moderately bitter as an Irish Stout should be. The Swamp Thing is traditional and delicious!
