Mt. Begbie Brewing Co. Releases Brave Liver Scotch Ale

Mt Begbie Brave Liver Scotch AleNovember 06, 2015 – Revelstoke, B.C. – On Wednesday November 4, Mt. Begbie Brewing Co. bottled the Brave Liver Scotch Ale. Formerly a seasonal draft, this is the first time the beer has been bottled by the Revelstoke based brewery.

The Brave Liver Scotch Ale is a full bodied, strong Ale also known as a “WEE Heavy”. Scottish pale ale malts are artfully crafted to impart hints of oak, scotch and caramel into the beer. Smooth. Best served in a thistle glass at 10c-13c.

Scotch Ales pair well with roast beef, lamb, game, smoked salmon, aged cheeses, toffee pudding or chocolate desserts.

The Mt Begbie Brave Liver comes in at 22 IBU and 6.5% ABV. The beer is sold in 650mL bottles and is available at select retailers and at the brewery.
