In the Howe Sound Brewing Company’s staple lineup of beers is the Garibaldi Honey Pale Ale. This BC longstanding staple pours from the 1 litre bottle as a light golden-straw colour with one finger of loose and quick to settle head. An aroma of pale malt, citrus, light sweetness and English style hops make for a smooth and sessionable smelling beer. The body is light and the honey tones come out if a buzz of excitement. Rather sweet for a pale ale and quite light this is sessionable and smooth. There is little in the way of hops that come through with a very low 16 IBUS. The Garibaldi is a light and sessionable English blend style Pale Ale with a sweet twist of honey flavour.
