Central City Lounge License

Surrey, B.C. – Craft beer fans have reason to rejoice as Surrey-based Central City Brewers + Distillers have secured their lounge license enabling them to serve multiple rounds of craft beer at their brewery lounge. Central City will also have food service available serving small plate dishes that compliment their line of craft beers.

Located at 11411 Bridgeview Drive in Surrey just off King George Highway near the Pattullo Bridge, Central City features a 3,000 sq. ft. (186 sq. m) lounge with a capacity of 100 people. High top tables and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the brewery’s glistening stainless steel fermentation tanks and copper still kettles make the lounge a great place to enjoy the very best in craft beer. The lounge also features growler fill stations for those who want to take some award-winning craft beer home.

Central City opened its 68,000 sq. ft. (6,317 sq. m) state-of-the-art brewery and distillery in 2013. The energy efficient facility reclaims 90 per cent of its energy used by using heat from broilers and refrigeration to heat the building. Water use is approximately five litres of water for every litre of beer produced, and we are actively working to reduce our water footprint further.
