From Category 12 Brewery out of Saanich BC comes the Waveform Witbier. This wheat ale pours from the bomber bottle as a cloudy-straw colour topped with two full fingers of head. From the Waveform comes a strong aroma of cardamom, coriander and a light ginger-like tone. The beer is relatively light bodied and the flavour is smooth but spicy. The cardamom tones take charge with a light citrus-zest to it. The cardamom flavour gives a ginger-like feel on the tongue while a lemon and grapefruit freshness add a sessionability to the Waveform. This beer has a bit more spice than you may expect and Cardamom tones take charge. If you like a spicy wit then this one has your name on it!
