Yellow Dog Take A Walk Witbier Review Yellow Dog Brewing Co. – Take A Walk Witbier Review

The Yellow Dog Brewing Take A Walk is a Belgian Witbier that is available at the brewery and at top BC craft retailers in 4-packs of 473ml cans. Pouring this wheat beer from the can it shows itself as a hazy golden colour topped with a finger and a half of very lightly lacing head. An aroma of citrus, pineapple and orange peel come on the nose in a refreshing and light summer fashion. On the first sip a citrus-fruit concoction hits the palate in a very refreshing way. The wheat tones start to build as the orange and pineapple flavours begin to settle. The Take A Walk is light and sessionable with a big fruit kick. The wheat flavour is not as strong as you may expect and the traditional spice notes of a Belgian Wit are rather subdued. This is a delicious Witbier that is a fruity and very sessionable example of a traditional style.
