Driftwood Brewing Farmhand Saison ReviewDriftwood Brewing Co. – Farm Hand Saison Review

A staple of the Driftwood Brewery lineup is the Farm Hand Saison. Newly updated with the new branding the taste has stayed the same – just the way you like it. The new, sharper image adds a sense of sophistication and prestige to the bottle. Pouring the Farm Hand it appears as  a clear amber colour topped with one finger of lightly lacing head. A smell of wheat, light hops, coriander and a touch of yeast makes a light, smooth and delicious aroma to look forward to. The first sip shows a relatively big body for such a sessionable beer. I nice balance of wheat tones, coriander spice and citrus hops along with a kick of Belgian yeast and pepper tones make for a complex but very sessionable beer.  In the finish a slight hop bitterness lingers with the yeast tones in a relatively neutral palate. The Farm Hand is a delicious BC brewed Saison that blends tradition with distinct BC brewing style.
