In the light of refreshing Summer days Steamworks Brewing Company has released the Killer Cucumber Ale. Sold in 6 packs the Killer pours from the bottle as a golden-yellow colour topped with a thick finger’s worth of lightly lacing head. The beer smells strongly of cucumber with a maltiness to it. The aroma is quite refreshing and crisp but a tad odd at the same time. The flavour is light but has a strong cucumber infusion to it. An base that tastes somewhat like a blonde ale is masked by the big cucumber tones. The cucumber flavour mixes well and is quite nice but is rather intense. If you are a big cucumber fan then you will not be disappointed by the Killer Cucumber Ale from Steamworks Brewing Company!

Dunno if you tried this beer chilled. If chilled, the cucumber adds to the bitterness wich i find is way refreshing. Nice beer, even though i am nit a fan of beer infused with foreign ingredients
