Cannery has shifted gears and released something that looks completely different. The Stumbling Goat is a Maibock that comes in bomber bottles labeled with a black and gold look. From this sharply labelled bottle the Stumbling Goat pours as a golden colour topped with two fingers of loosely packed, lacing head. From the beer comes a malty aroma with a light citrus hop tone on the nose. The flavour is also malt forward with a crispness that comes with. A light sweetness builds before the dry hopped notes come forward near the finish. A light bitterness and crisp citrus flavour balances the malt flavours that came up front. The Stumbling Goat is a traditional German Lager with an extra kick of hops for those west-coast beer lovers.
