The Townsite Brewing Charleston Triple is Back and Better than Ever!
Charleston Triple- Townsite Brewing’s Best Yet!
Powell River, BC – March 2015
I guess what they say is true, three times a charm! this years version of our Charleston Triple is what Brewmaster Cédric Dauchot claims to be his best yet.Charleston: noun 1. a dance popular on Texada Island in the 20’s; 2. the first vessel of Powell River’s floating breakwater; 3. a delicious Belgian-style triple
The Charleston Triple was first released in 2013 as part of our ‘Hulk series’ where we create a beer based on one of the floating, cement ships that make up the mill break water here in Powell River. The beer was so well received we decided to make it our yearly spring release.
This year Cédric is particularly pleased with how Charleston turned out. “This straw colour is exactly what I am aiming for” he says, adding “the yeast really stood up to the sugar and I am very happy with the dryness this year”.
Watch for its release March 2015
