Tree Brewing’s Old School Stout is Back for 2015!

Old-School-Stout-Release-BannerThe Tree Brewing Old School Stout is Back for 2015!

Old-School-Stout-ReleaseThe word stout originally meant “proud” or “brave” but after the 14th century it took on the connotation of “strong”. While our Old School Stout isn’t exactly strong in alcohol (5.5% ABV), it is very much a rich full bodied Ale dominated by chocolate and roasted malt flavours and very well balanced.

Dry stouts achieve a dry-roasted character through the use of roasted barley, just one of the six malts in our Old School Stout recipe. A subtle bitterness leads to a long creamy finish on this aphotic beauty.
