Nelson Brewery Blisstank Organic Chocolate Stout Nelson Brewing Co. – Bliss Tank Organic Triple Chocolate Stout Review

The Nelson Brewery has gathered some organic chocolate and brewed a dark and wintery Triple Chocolate Stout called the Bliss Tank. This beer is a very dark brown colour which pours with a finger and a half worth of fairly dense, lacing head. The beer smells rather malty with a bitter-sweet cocoa aroma and a bit of a nuttiness to it. The beer has a fairly creamy texture with a higher than expected carbonation bubbling on the tongue. A mellow chocolate flavour comes into view along side a malty based stout. Without much in the way of sweetness, a creamy-chocolate flavour makes for an easy drinking, mellow chocolate stout which is by no means over the top. If you like chocolate stouts but shy away from sweetness this could just be the beer for your winter enjoyment.
