Overview

Moon Under Water Berliner Weisse ReviewMoon Under Water Brewery – Berliner-Style Weisse Review

Collaborating with Russ Huband and Jonas Bjorkman the Moon Under Water Brewpub has brewed up a Berliner Weisse style sour ale. This simply decaled bottle pours as a  straw coloured, lightly opaque liquid. A thin finger of head settles quickly atop the beer giving off a lightly sour, Witbier-esque aroma. a light carbonation and a relatively thin body gives this beer an almost cider-like flavour with a sharp sourness and subtle sweetness. This Berliner-Weisse is light and easy drinking and is not your typical over-the-top sour ale. If you want something light and refreshing then this is a great option. If you are a fan of big sour flavours then this beer may be a little light four your taste preferences.
