Cannery Brewing L'Orage Noir Belgian Strong Review Bottle Cannery Brewing Co. – L’Orage Noir Belgian Strong Ale Review

A a part of the Artisan Creation series of craft beer the Cannery Brewing Company has brewed the limited release L’Orage Noir Belgian Dark Strong. This Big and Belgian inspired beer is a hefty 9% alcohol and comes with a strike of lightning. Pouring from the bomber bottle this Belgian beer appears as a deep, reddish brown colour topped with two fingers of quickly and cleanly settling head. The L’Orage Noir smells deep and strong with notes of Belgian spice and a strong, lightly sweetened aroma. The body is big and strong but not as intense as you may expect given that this is the strongest beer Cannery has every brewed. A Belgian yeast flavour, candy-like sweetness and a touch of bittering hops to complete the package makes this a unique Abbey style ale which is strong, flaovurful, fairly sweet and will warm your soul as the glass disappears.
