Revelstoke BC is home of some tall trees and with that in mind the Mt Begbie Brewing Company has brewed up the Tall Timber Ale. This beer is sold in 6 packs of 355ml cans and comes in at a standard 5.2% alcohol. From the can this beer pours as a deep, copper brown colour topped with a single finger of quickly settling head. The nose of this beer is filled with toasted chocolate malt, caramel and a defined earthiness. This deep aroma leads into the flavour where the Tall Timber Ale has a light creaminess to it with notes of caramel, chocolate, a light nuttiness and a slight bittering hop. This is a relatively dark beer but remains on the sessionable side of its brown ale categorization. The Tall Timber is a well-bodied, full flavoured Brown Ale that is easy to find and conveniently served in a can for your next adventure.
