Little People of BC - Blood Orange Wit

Phillips’ 2014 Benefit Brew – The Little People of BC Blood Orange Wit.

Two Winners, Two Special Brews

Benefit Brew & King of the Carboy Winning Beers Released

January 20th, 2014 — They may not be trophies in the traditional sense, but these special edition 650mL releases were both competition winners!

The Little People of BC were selected by the voting public as 2013’s Benefit Brew Winner, and in honour of their hard work we’ve released a Blood Orange Wit, with full proceeds being donated to their cause.  Glen Marshall is a homebrew extraordinaire and not only won the hotly contested IPA category in the CAMRA Victoria Amateur Brewing Competition, but his American IPA was also chosen as the King of the Carboy, earning him the chance to replicate his winning recipe with our brewers right here at Phillips HQ!

Both brews are available for a limited time from craft-friendly private liquor stores focused in Victoria and Lower Mainland.

If you would like to try these very special seasonal releases on draft, join us at Phillips HQ on Thursday January 23rd from 4pm-6pm!  Tasters are free.

The Little People of BC were chosen by you as the 2013 Benefit Brew winner!  Dedicated to providing emotional, educational, medical and social support for its membership, the LPBC has been raising awareness for persons of short stature since 1982.  In honour of their efforts we’ve brewed up a special wit, crafted with blood oranges, with full proceeds from the sale of this beer going to help the Little People of BC do some very big things!

Available for limited time from private craft-focused liquor stores in Victoria and the Lower Mainland.

Whether your brewhouse is found in a brewery or a basement, great beer can be crafted just about anywhere! Glen Marshall brewed up a real basement beauty that was so good it not only won the IPA category at this year’s CAMRA Victoria Amateur Brewing Competition, but was also chosen as the King of the Carboy, giving Glen the opportunity to come down Phillips and brew his winning beer with our brewers.  Congratulations Glen! Now we can all pop the top and enjoy the hop!

The Glen Marshall American IPA is available for a limited time from craft-friendly private liquor stores in Victoria and the Lower Mainland.

The Wit seems a bit out of season but both look like good beers to try!
