The Beer is Here – Hopscotch Vancouver is Just Around the Corner!

Hopscotch Vancouver 2013Hopscotch 2013 is almost here. Starting November 11th and running through the 17th is the largest beer and liquor festival to come to BC – Hopscotch. The week-long event’s main attraction is the Grand Tasting Hall being held at the PNE on November 15th and 16th. At this event there are literally hundreds of options for tasting including some of BC’s Canada’s and the world’s best beer and scotch.

Imperial Jack Double IPA is a big, beefy IPA. Crafted with Malted 2 row Barley, Cara Pils Malt, Caramel 30L Malt, and Cascade Hops. Pours Pale golden-stra color with a nice 1 finger head and good retention. Aromas are of a strong pine and citrus hop. The pine and citrus flavors both come through with taste that nearly conceals the malt, but not quite.
