Russell Brewing Co. – Chamber Ale Review

The Chamber Ale is Russell Brewing’s take on a Belgian style wheat ale and is dubbed as “Civilized Debauchery”. Entering the glass in a golden-amber hue the two fingers of head settles slowly. The smell coming off this ale is strong of wheat, malt, coriander, citrus and a few floral notes for good measure. These aroma notes translate into a similar flavour in a smooth, crisp taste based on classic Belgian malts. A slight sweetness comes through close to the finish balancing the citrus front. This beer is tasty, smooth and traditional. It may be hard to find but if you enjoy Belgian style ales then track down a bottle of the Chambar and give it a try for yourself.
