Mission Springs Brewing Co. – Olde Sailor’s IPA Review

The Olde Sailor’s IPA is an English style India Pale ale that is aromatic and strong with great floral hop notes in the smell. The beer has a finger and a half of head above a copper/brown coloured ale. The taste is toasted with caramel notes along the side of a strong English hop bitterness. From the first sip to the last the main story here is about the hop. The palate is bombarded with hops leaving a bitter and semi-dry finish. If you like hops you will likely enjoy this beer so give it a try!

Alcohol – 5.5%
IBU – 75
Size – 650ml
Price – $6.49 (16th Street Liquor)

You sure have been giving lots of love to mission springs lately! I liked this beer both on tap and in the bottle but I think I prefer ed the bottle. Not sure why really

I only tried a taste at the brewery but found both the bottle and tap to be a nice, English style IPA. I would need to try more to really decifer a difference.
