Phillips Brewing Co. – Growhop Chinook IPA Review

The Phillips Chinook IPA pours a cloudy golden colour with a single finger of head that dissipates quickly. The smell of floral hops and notes of citrus orange and grapefruit come through the settling head. This IPA’s taste has a citrus sweetness that is paralleled by a tartness that also finds the citrus as its source. Being hoppy but not overpowering this beers flavour profile is finished by a sweetened hoppy bitterness that adds depth to the overall taste.

Alcohol – 6.5%
Size – 341ml (3 bottles in the Hop Box – winter 2012)
Price – $30.75 (Cold Beer and Wine)
