Longwood Brewpub – India Pale Ale Review

The Longwood IPA smells strong of hop and a light florality. The beer pours with a thin head and a dark amber colour. The  taste is crisp off the start and builds into a mildly floral, hopped bitterness as the taste progresses. The palate is left with a bitterness and a crispness that lingers. The beer is refreshing but is fairly strong in the hop department. This may intimidate the non-IPA drinker but is quite nice if you can handle a well hopped English Style IPA.
