Swans Brewpub – Pandora Pale Ale Review

The Pandora Pale Ale is a light nut tinged amber colour with a thin head on top. The beer has a citrus, smell with an overlying aroma of banana. Upon first taste the tongue is hit with notes of nuttiness, honey and a light burnt flavour. The afternotes are strong with a burnt bitter and a light touch of sweetness. For a pale ale there seems to be a lot going on in this beer. The flavours are mixing and mingling giving the taste buds a run for their money trying to keep up. While it may seem a bit busy it is still rather pleasant and a nice change from the traditional Pale Ale stereotypes.
