Overview

  • Brewery: Swans Brewpub
  • Beer Style: Kolsch
  • Pros:

    Dry finish

  • Cons:

    Not all that unique

  • Conclusion:

    A tasty and traditional Kolsch

The Swans Arctic Ale is actually a Kolsch with a light amber gold colour and a thin head. The flavour almost has a slight touch of wheat to it and a faint hop in the start. There are a few floral notes that linger during drinking before leaving the palate in a neutral state making this an easy drinker. The modest 4.5% alcohol rating leaves this as a beer that can be enjoyed from start to finish without a degradation (or heightening) of the senses. This beer is fairly neutral, light and easy to drink.

Alcohol – 4.5%
Size –650ml bottle
