Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub has a reputation as being one of the best brewpubs in the Victoria area. This reputation stems from the consistently quality beer that they have been making since 1984. In addition they have a great kitchen with visually and taste bud inspiring meals.
Spinnakers serves sample trays of 4 beers for a modest fee. Two trays and you have the full offering of beers running from a lager to a stout with some seasonal options in the middle. The restaurant has classic interior and a beautiful patio overlooking the Victoria Harbour. This is a brewpub that you should head to for lunch or dinner rather than just a tasting. The beer is wonderful and the food is a very close second.
While Spinnakers is primarily a brewpub, there is a small store in the entrance to the restaurant where you can get all your beer paraphernalia along with a bottle of your favorite beer. Get it while you are here as it is not available in stores anywhere else.
