The Lone Wolf is composed of four hop varieties and four different malts. This combination results in a hoppy and complex flavour also known as a sensory-sensation. The hop flavour is partnered with a distinct floral and tropical fruit taste that melds nicely into the sweetened finish. The floral and fruit tones are bigger than typical and take charge. The hops do provide a bit of a bitter finish but the sweeter, fruit flavours are much more apparent. This is not a typical BC-style IPA but is refreshing, flavourful and quite delicious. The Lone Wolf was first released by the Fernie Brewing Company back in 2012 and has become a BC favourite. The Lone wolf is not available everywhere but with a little bit of searching a bottle is likely not far away.
