Whistler Brewing Co. – Paradise Valley Grapefruit Ale Review

Is it really necessary to say that the Whistler Brewing Co. Grapefruit Ale is a summer beer? The initial taste of this brew is rather subtle, the grapefruit makes an appearance but does not totally overpower the malty, slightly coriander flavoured body. The finish however, is reminiscent of a sunday morning half grapefruit. The aftertaste lingers for some time with nothing but pure grapefruit flavour. Refreshing and sweet with a grapefruit tartness this beer is a summer favourite for many BC craft beer drinkers.
