Granville Island Brewery – Cypress Honey Lager Review

Sticking with the GIB theme, named after a local ski mountain the Cypress Honey Lager is Light, refreshing and sweet – but not as sweet as you may expect. For a honey lager though the sugary tendencies are still quite subtle. The honey front is closed with a light bitterness at the end from a mild hop.

Cariboo’s Honey Lager is much better. This one was frankly terrible, and I couldn’t even taste any honey!
